Thank you for visiting our family tree. This research was begun more than 10 
years ago by Mark Bowman, email: MBOWMAN004@satx.rr.com, and it continues.  He has 
traveled across Texas, the United States and Scotland and contacted many 
distant relatives to acquire what you can now view so easily on this website.  
Additional research has been added from Toby Bowman who personally contacted 
many to get their correct names and dates. I have added some as well, mostly 
by doing online research. Much of the Ramage and Ranft lineage was taken from 
the genealogy research of Chesley Pennington (b.1894, d.1991) who graciously 
provided this for his wife's family. Marburger family genealogy was 
contributed by Johanna Johnson and Cindy Almond, very distant relatives who 
have sought out those in their family line. Thank you to the many different 
individuals around the globe who have contributed stories, photos, names and 
dates.

You may notice that there are no birthdates or additional information 
included for persons now living.  This has been done for those who may not 
want their personal information displayed.  If you are not comfortable with 
your complete name being displayed, let me know. Please feel free to browse 
the sight and if you should find something that needs to be edited just send 
me an email. Of course, if there is a photo or name you would like to have 
added we can do that, too.  This website has been password protected to limit 
public access.

Helpful Hints: Read the 'Getting Around' section below for an overview of 
the various views available. Remember that when selecting a name from the 
Names List below that women's names are filed by their maiden name. If 
you are uncertain about a name, choose the name of a spouse, child or parent 
of that person.
